Michiel de Mare, M.A.
I'm an experienced web developer living in Amsterdam. I've been working professionally since 1999, and I've been programming since I was twelve. I've forgotten many programming languages, but the ones I'm still fluent in include Java, Ruby and Clojure. I'm also proficient in the usual web suspects: Javascript, SQL, HTML and CSS, Ruby on Rails. I'm one of the founders of the Dutch Ruby En Rails association, and helped start the ruby user group "amsterdam.rb".
I've got a background in linguistics, and my major interest is in using the web to teach foreign languages..
